Financing Solutions

Mindscape is pleased to have partners that offer financing to individuals seeking to improve the value of their homes. These financing solutions are only available for residential home owners (since Commercial building owners or developers typically have access to other financing options and will not need this support from Mindscape).

Mindscape has two primary financing options available at the present time:

  • Equity take-outs on existing property via mortgage brokers such as Debt Freedom Canada Inc., and simultaneous refinancing to consolidate/eliminate debts with a new mortgage at rates which are often well below prime;
  • Small and large unsecured loans via Homeworks Financing.
  • Once installed, renewable energy projects can take advantage of Ontario’s Net Metering or Feed-In Tariff programs. Refer to our Energyscape services page for more information on these and other programs.

Either financing approach may be applied to any of Mindscape’s services or solutions, from renewable energy products to connected home or home automation solutions.

If your financial situation is difficult, then we would encourage you to contact a mortgage broker (we'd be happy to provide you with a referral) for a free consultation on how they might consolidate your loans, reduce your mortgage payments, and free up capital for you to invest in a Mindscape project that would increase the value of your property and/or reduce your monthly energy bills.

If you prefer not to affect your existing mortgage, but you have some capital in savings, then Mindscape is able to provide you with an unsecured loan that you may use for a personal renewable energy or connected home project.
